Monroe Veterinary Associates Announces New Animal Clinic

ROCHESTER, N.Y., (Feb. 28, 2013) — Monroe Veterinary Associates plans to open the Rochester Community Animal Clinic at 985 Bay Street in summer of 2013.

The Rochester Community Animal Clinic will provide an array of services to residents of the City of Rochester, including income-based spay and neuter procedures, low-cost veterinary services for humane organizations, low-cost wellness care for pet owners and an after-hours outpatient urgent care service.

"Rochester residents care deeply about their pets, but, for various reasons, many animals in our community may not be receiving the care they need," said Paul Black, DVM, President of Monroe Veterinary Associates. "With our new practice, Monroe Veterinary Associates will help educate Rochester area pet owners about the benefits of preventive wellness care for their animals. In addition, we will continue to work toward reducing the unwanted pet population by providing affordable surgical sterilization for pets whose owners live on a low income."

More information will be at www.MonroeVets.com when it becomes available.
